Born and raised in the Willamette Valley, I started my real estate career as a real estate broker in 1996 after experiencing the excitement of purchasing my first home and wanting to help others experience the same. Although I enjoyed being a real estate broker, in 2000 I was given the opportunity to work for a title company as an escrow assistant when the real estate market was moving at a very fast pace. During my time at the title company, I managed to also grow a career in construction and land development. I sat on the panel of tour of homes which allowed me to get to know several local builders and subcontractors in the Eugene area. In 2005, I was offered a position with two mortgage brokers as their assistant, office manager, processor and eventually Jr. LO. This is where I found my true calling in the industry and eventually became a mortgage broker myself. In 2012, I went to work for a credit union in Eugene as a traveling loan officer in the state of Oregon and given the opportunity to combine my knowledge of lending and construction by leading the construction department and educating home owners through construction lending seminars. In 2018 I moved to Bend, OR and focused on growing the Central Oregon market and although it is a beautiful place to live, but I missed the valley and being further away from the Oregon Coast where I spend a lot of time, so I moved back to Springfield/Eugene in 2023 where I was given a great opportunity to work as a Mortgage Loan Officer with Kind Lending, LLC. Working in various positions within the industry has given me knowledge and understanding of the many facets of a real estate transaction, whether you are buying for the first time, refinancing, remodeling, building a home or purchasing a piece of land.
