Patrick Pennington
VP Retail Sales
After graduating from Soquel High School, Patrick set out on a search to find a career that he would love. In 1990 he found his passion in helping people achieve their dreams of owning their own home. He began his journey through the financial world learning everything there was to know about home loans so he could do more to help his clients.
Patrick realized early on that there were a lot of loans that could have happened if someone had spent a little more time on them. He decided to be that person and began paying more attention to the minor details. As it turned out this would rocket him into a top position in the lending industry. He quickly became the man who everyone called if they wanted their loans to succeed.
Patrick is known for his great sense of humor, his family values, and his ability to get the job done. He has 6 kids ranging from 18 years old to 27 years old. He enjoys traveling the world with them and taking time to appreciate the natural beauty in the world. Something that many people do not know about Patrick is that he loves animals and has a plethora of pets in his home.
In July of 2016 Patrick advanced his career by accepting a branch manager position at Stearns Lending, LLC. (NMLS# 1854) where he became the leader of an amazing team. He worked with them to help each of them expand their horizons.
In 2020 Patrick took on the role of Western Division Sales Vice President at Kind Lending where he has worked to build a retail division full of fun loan officers and a work environment that is envied in the industry. He has earned the respect of the team. He is known for having created a stress-free work environment where each employee can be themselves and produce quality loans.

1Mortgage insurance may be required on loans greater than 80% LTV and will increase your monthly payment.
2ARM Loans-interest rate will increase over the term of the loan which will increase the monthly payment.
3VA loans do not need mortgage insurance but do require a one-time VA Funding Fee. Full entitlement is the dollar amount the VA will guarantee for a VA loan. This helps us determine how much a veteran can borrow without a down payment.
4USDA Loans require a one-time up-front guarantee fee, and an annual fee (collected monthly) which will increase the monthly payment.
5Non-QM Loans may have higher and / or additional fees when compared to other loan products.
6Depending on the starter rate, the first payment after the introductory period may be a substantial increase.
